My grandfather taught me photographic composition and how to drive a stick shift car when I was 10. As an enthusiastic teen, I made movies using my friends as actors in the swampy rural outskirts of Tampa.
I am a do-it-yourself-er, father, husband, and a competitive ultimate frisbee player.
In 2020, my wife Wendy and I sold 95% of everything we owned and I followed our dream of living in the mountains of North Carolina. We have 9 acres at approx 4200' and are building (together by hand) a tiny cabin we concurrently live in. We collect rainwater in giant cisterns and love keeping our carbon footprint small.
